Toutousai

刀々斎
An elderly blacksmith and a friend of Inu-no-Taishou (InuYasha and Sesshoumaru's father) who forged the Tessaiga and the Tenseiga. He rarely appears unless to repair the damaged swords or instruct InuYasha on how to use hidden powers within the Tessaiga. Toutousai can breathe fire and wields a giant forging hammer. He also is transported by a three-eyed ox yōkai named Mō-Mō who can fly. ("Tōtōsai" means "sword purification.")
