Takako was Oyamada's fiancée. She passed away in a car accident, leading to Oyamada blaming himself for not being able to save her with his magic. In a vision projected by Yume, it is revealed that had Oyamada died in place of her, Takako would've led a very sad life and been unable to move on from loving him - which helps Oyamada realize that he's doing just that, by not letting her memory go. Through the connection facilitated by Yume, the spirit of Takako also wishes Oyamada happiness and gives her blessing to him and Melinda.
