Hanako Hashimoto is the daughter of Shoukichi Hashimoto. She first appeared in the Shonen Magazine story Hakusanbou. Her name was changed to Haruko (晴子) for the third anime series and Akane (茜) for the fourth anime series. (Source: GeGeGe no Kitarou Wiki)
