Suema was the last target of Dr. Kisugi, the serial killer of five years ago. From this, Suema gained a very high interest in criminal psychology which makes her a bit of an outcast among her classmates. After running into Nagi Kirima she also gains an interest in the supernatural occurrences in her city and through the course of the Boogiepop series she seeks to uncover the truth behind these incidents.
